{"id":4322,"date":"2017-03-25T12:17:49","date_gmt":"2017-03-25T12:17:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sunkrish.com\/?p=4322"},"modified":"2017-03-25T12:18:18","modified_gmt":"2017-03-25T12:18:18","slug":"forex-reserves-up-2-67-bn-to-366-78-bn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sunkrish.com\/index.php\/2017\/03\/25\/forex-reserves-up-2-67-bn-to-366-78-bn\/","title":{"rendered":"Forex reserves up $2.67 bn to $366.78 bn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"body\"><a href=\"https:\/\/sunkrish.com\/index.php\/2016\/03\/14\/sebi-board-clears-wilful-defaulter-rules-clarifies-on-definition-of-control\/1-31\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3861\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3861\" src=\"https:\/\/sunkrish.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/1-6.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"240\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a>India\u2019s foreign exchange reserves surged by whopping $2.671 billion to $366.781 billion for the week ended March 2017 on account of increase in foreign currency assets, the Reserve Bank said today.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\">In the previous week, the reserves had risen by $98.6 million to $364.109 billion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\">Foreign currency assets (FCAs), a major component of the overall reserves, rose by $2.645 billion to $343.101 billion in the reporting week, the RBI said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body _hoverrDone\">Expressed in US dollar terms, FCAs include the effects of appreciation\/depreciation of non\u2014US currencies, such as the euro, pound and the yen held in the reserves.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\">Gold reserves remained unchanged at $19.914 billion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body\">The special drawing rights with the International Monetary Fund was up by $10 million to $1.444 billion; India\u2019s reserve position with the Fund, too, increased by $15.9 million to $2.320 billion, RBI said.<\/p>\n<div class=\"photo-caption\">Source: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thehindubusinessline.com\/economy\/forex-reserves-up-267-bn-to-36678-bn\/article9600591.ece\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.thehindubusinessline.com\/economy\/forex-reserves-up-267-bn-to-36678-bn\/article9600591.ece<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>India\u2019s foreign exchange reserves surged by whopping $2.671 billion to $366.781 billion for the week ended March 2017 on account of increase in foreign currency assets, the Reserve Bank said today.
